PAINT PLUS EASY FLOW INTERIOR PAINT

Easy Flow is an interior wall paint that has been optimized for marking resistance and ease of application. It flows beautifully to produce a high quality smooth finish. The low gloss level of Easy Flow means it can be used as ceiling paint in areas of low incidental light. Most surface marks may be removed with a soft cloth and a mild liquid detergent solution.

Colour and gloss:

Gloss level and description – low sheen 7.5% @ 60 degrees Colour range – whites, pastels, mid tones, dark and extra bright colours

Surface preparation:

General preparation of the surface to be painted should be completed before commencing application. All loose material must be removed and surface damage or imperfections made good. The surface must be clean, dry and free of contaminants. Areas with a build up of grime must be cleaned with sugar soap or quality equivalent. Previously painted enamel and polyurethane must be sanded to remove gloss. Unpainted surfaces must have a coat of primer, sealer or undercoat applied.

Application schedule:

Touch dry 20 minutes Re-coat time (minimum) 2 hours Practical coverage 10–12 square meters per litre Dry film thickness @ 10 square meters per litre 40 microns Required number of coats – 2 Application is not recommended if the surface and/ or air temperature is less than 10˚C or is liable to fall below 10˚C during the drying period.

Primer/sealer requirements:

New paper-faced wall board Apply 1 coat of PaintPlus Easy Sand. When dry, sand and clean with a lint free cloth. Previously painted surfaces Prime repairs and bare areas with PaintPlus Easy Sand. When dry, sand and clean with a lint free cloth. Enamel and polyurethane Sand to remove gloss and apply 1 coat of PaintPlus Quick Prep. When dry, sand to required level of finish and clean with a lint free cloth. Particle board and fibre board Apply 1 coat of PaintPlus Quick Prep. When dry, sand to required level of finish and clean with a lint free cloth.
